Richelieu Rock and Koh Tachai

The diving on Richelieu Rock and Koh Tachai yesterday was  brilliant. At the moment  Richelieu is the best dive site of the season but last year Koh Tachai was a winner.

Soft coral, 30meters visibility, there was a small current but lots of schools of fish. Last week Ko Bon unexpectedly had a whale shark sighting. Ko Bon is normally a place to see manta rays but a few very happy customers got the chance of a life time and saw an  8 meter whale shark. A babe whale shark i admit, but still a whale shark. The busy season is starting. All Similan liveaboard will soon be fully booked during the December time. I prefer diving on a liveaboard diving opposed  to a day trip dive. Only because, it works out cheap per dive. It’s so much more relaxing and you also get to see the Similan Islands when all the day trip customer have left to go back to their hotels
