Three years ago some of the corals on the Similan Island where destroyed. Some dives sites where hit more then others, some not at all. The question was – will they grow back again?.  Divers are reporting back from the Similan Islands. That there is new growth on the corals. which is encouraging news.

On Monday, while traveling back from the Similan Islands. Nobody could believe their eyes. Over 100 false killer whale where ducking and diving all around the boat. The captain slowed down so everyone could have a look at these amazing creatures. This is a very unusual sight for the Similan Islands. We have never had false killer whale sighting here before. Always expect the unexpected in the Similan Islands.
