The Start of it all
Hi,
The Start of it all – First of all I would like to welcome you to Pirate Divers International. I (Brenda) have been living in Thailand for over eight years. I Came here as a non diver but soon became an open water student as I thought it was the thing to do on Holidays in Thailand. I wont lie I didn’t fall in love with the whole diving experience. I thought it was ok but I was proud that I did the course. One more box to click.” Diving in the Similans Clicked!”. I returned to Ireland and to my job and life went on. A year later I came back to Thailand and the Similans Islands and did my Advanced course. The instructor was brilliant and it’s then that I started to fall in love with diving. I Went back to Ireland, gave up my job and went on to the biggest adventure of my life.
Eight years later I’m a diving instructor and last year I opened my own shop in Khao Lak
I have not forgotten what is was like learning how to dive and as an instructor. I realize just how important getting the right instructor to teach a PADI course is.
As an ex hairdresser I’m a complete novice on computers. So building this Webpage was the hardest thing I have every done. The shear frustration of it all and at times I really wanted to throw the computer out the window and walk away. I now have complete respect for all those in the web development area. “hats off to ya boys an girls”
So here is my first blog. I will tell you all about how I started getting Pirate Divers opened. The people I have met along the way. The Amazing customer who became my friends. They respected my honesty because I was not just trying to sell them anything and in return they gave me their friendship.
Day One/Two of Painting and construction
These Four guys were amazing. They started at 6pm after their days work and within two hours, constructed a bamboo scaffold. All ways with a smile on their faces
