Richelieu Rock
An abundance of hard and soft purple coral. This is the most beautiful dive site. Lots of marine life to discover. Sea horse in three spots – harlequin shrimp – huge groups of barracuda at the surface.
whale sharks and Manta rays are often seen here.
Expect the unexpected while diving Richelieu rock.
Can be prone to strong current. Dive after full moon and half moon.
Best way to get Richelieu rock is by Speed boat. We leave from Nam Khem Pier. One hour travel time. Two dives – return back to hotel by 4:30
Koh Tachai
This is a boulder dive site. Some swim- through but a great dive if you are more interested in the topography of a dive site. Around 12meters there is some beautiful corals and a great dive site for Sharks and Manta rays.
Current can be very strong. Again check for when its full moon.
Ko Bon
The wall or the ridge ( as it also known) is the best part of Ko Bon. This is a feeding station for the big pelagic fish.
The current is mild to strong but you can hide, be-hide the larger boulders.
If time is not an issue. We have a three dive day. Two dives in Ko Tachai and one dive on Ko Bon This enhances your chance of seeing the bigger stuff – manta rays. The mode of transport is a slow boat. Departure from Tab lamu pier.
Two / three hours travel time. Two dives – return back to hotel by 6:30 / 7:30
