On Island Number 8 in the Similan Islands, the walk up to the towering Sail Rock takes around 30 minutes. The view is truly one of the best that Thailand has to offer, so make sure you bring your camera.
Nature’s Finest
Island Number 4 is home to Princess Bay. The nature trail here takes you to the other side of the beautiful island. Don’t spend too long on the other side though, or you might miss your beach lunch!

We like to give all our customers a choice of different snorkeling sites. If you do not feel like snorkeling at the Similans, you can always choose to stay on the island or simply relax on the boat with a book.
6:00-6:30 am – Pick up from your hotel
7:30 am – Departure to the Similan Islands.
The early bird departure allows customers to get to the Similan Islands before all the other tourist.
This will ensure that when you take pictures at sail rock on Similan Islands number 8. It will be of the beauty of nature and not of hoards of people.
They are two snorkeling stops, each lasting between 30 – 45 Minutes.

Maximum capacity:
2 engine boats – maximum of 20 guests plus crew but they are licensed for 20 guests plus crew.
3 engine boats – maximum of 32 guests plus crew but they are licensed for 32 guests plus crew.
Seating areas:
The front of the boat is unprotected from the sun and it is the place that is the bumpiest to sit. It is not recommended for children and older persons.
The inside of the boat is a covered area, here you are most protected from the sun and wind.
The back of the boat is partially covered, here you are still quite protected from the sun and this is the least bumpiest area to sit but also the noisiest, since it is right next to the engines
Q) I haven’t snorkeled before, will I be OK?
A) If it’s your first time snorkelling please tell your guide. They will understand if you are a little nervous and will keep a closer eye on you.
Q) Are there life jackets on the boat for adults and small children?
A) Yes! All the companies we use supply life jackets for everyone. Including small children
Q) Can divers and snorkellers be on the same boat?
A) The advantage of an only snorkeling boat is you get to snorkel on better snorkeling site and you will also have lunch and relaxing time on the island.
Q) Can children come snorkelling?
A) The age limit of no younger than 3 years of age. This is for insurance reason.
Things to consider before you book:
It is highly unlikely that anything will go wrong, but it’s always best to be prepared!
New regulations of Similan Islands National Park require passport copies in the moment of the booking.
The speedboat has right to change or adjust the itinerary of the tour if necessary due to weather changes or any other unforeseen circumstances.
