Cheow Lan Lake, a man-made reservoir within the park, is a jewel of emerald waters surrounded by dramatic karst formations. This day trip takes you through the highlights of Khao Sok and Cheow Lan, giving you a taste of its natural wonders and cultural experiences.

What to Expect

Your adventure begins with a scenic journey to Khao Sok, where you’ll visit a picturesque waterfall and take in the panoramic views from the Khao Sok viewpoint. Bamboo rafting on the Sok River offers a peaceful yet exhilarating way to explore the jungle, complete with a coffee break at the Jungle Café.

The journey continues to Cheow Lan Lake, where a long-tail boat will take you around its awe-inspiring karst formations. You’ll visit Khao Sam Klur, known as the “Three Brothers” for its distinctive limestone peaks, and enjoy a delicious lunch at a floating raft house. There’s plenty of time to swim, kayak, or simply relax amidst this serene setting. The day concludes with a trek through Prakaipet Cave, where you’ll marvel at fascinating stalagmites and stalactites before returning to your hotel with memories to last a lifetime.

I was not sure what dive spots I should go and Brenda really knows the place, explained everything and gave me recommendations. Their equipment is pretty new so I felt totally safe.

The diving itself was stunning. I did diving Richelieu rock. It is a really lovely spot full of corals and a loooot of fish.

I can not forget about amazing service. Everything went totally smooth from the transport, delicious food (breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner) and so lovely staff on the boat who took care of everything. I did not have to do anything. Just be on the huge boat and enjoy the moment. I just regret that I did not have more days. It is possible to stay on the boat overnight and dive more days. It could be an amazing experience. I hope next time :)

The warm and friendly atmosphere made us focus on diving at Richeillous Rock. B was incredibly helpful and sensible in assisting us with selecting our masks, wetsuits, and fins. The gear was in excellent condition, and our guide Ping was amazing too. Thanks to him, we saw rare local fish as well as countless other fish. I can't wait to revisit next year !!

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My partner and I were looking to squeeze in one more day dive trip before the end of our holiday, but were a bit overwhelmed by the sheer amount of dive shops and providers in Khao Lak.

Well, that search ended the second I met Brenda. Such an awesome person and well connected with the diving community in Khao Lak. We felt so taken care of and she was able to accommodate a very last minute day trip to the Surin Islands, which we both enjoyed immensely. Her gear is immaculate as well, and makes sure it all fits you properly before leaving the shop. She personally inspects and cleans everything before and after every rental, so you know you won't have any problems once on the boat.

She made sure she were picked up on time, was available on both phone and WhatsApp throughout for anything we might need to ask or double check.
Very good prices too, and it's definitely value for your money.

She was honest and open telling us the different options we had for our day trip and was great at advising us. She knows all the operators in the area and has dived all the sites. So she really knows what she is talking about.

Her rental equipment is all in great condition and she was available in person and via WhatsApp to answer any questions we had. You can tell she really cares about her clients and wants them to have the best time!

Brenda was able to find a liveaboard that fit our schedule and had the course we wanted to do. Booking through her shop meant we used her equipment instead of the shop that runs the liveaboard. Her equipment was really well maintained and new. The regulator breathed superbly and I felt safe to rely on it throughout the entire liveaboard. The BCD was new and had no velcro straps that were falling off like you would get with some older rentals. Highly recommend!
